Glossary
When a Confluence page on your Refined site contains a link to a JSM request type, the request type popup opens directly on-page when clicked. This makes it easy for users to create a request from self-help docs without switching contexts.
While it’s possible to build a beautiful and user-friendly site without any custom code, it is possible to use CSS, HTML, or JavaScript. Note however that we don’t offer support for issues caused by custom code.
A unique URL for your Refined site on your company’s domain. For example, we built our help center on help.refined.com.
The geographical location where your data is stored. We advise storing your Refined data and your Atlassian data in the same region (EU or US). This may help your organization meet security/privacy requirements such as GDPR, and can lead to faster loading sites.
A space setting that lets you determine whether to display an estimation of the time it’ll take to read a Confluence page or blog post.
A way to get the word out about your next holiday party, release, webinar, or whatever else is on the calendar.
The title and photo that pops up when referring to a page on your site (for example in News and Pages modules on your site’s landing pages) and when sharing it externally (for example on Slack or social media).
A space setting that lets you determine whether users can give feedback on Confluence pages. Feedback can be anonymous, and it’s easy for administrators and editors to review feedback from a central dashboard.
